Kid Icarus: Uprising is the first Kid Icarus game since Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters which launched in 1991 for the Gameboy, and is only the thrid game in the series.
This game is a third-person shooter game with hack-n-slash elements. You can utilize 9 different types of weapons; Blade, Claws, Bow, Palm, Cannon, Mace, Arm, Staff, and Orbs that orbit around the player.
The game is split into ground and air based combat sections featuring Pit - The protagonist - battling monsters, including Twinbellows and Hewdraw, bosses from the first game, in his quest to stop Medusa.
The game retains Pit and Palutena's new looks as introduced in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. |
