The game is very much text based as you listen to what everyone has to say before you get to shout “OBJECTION!”. After the witness gives their testimony, you then get to cross-exanimate their testimony to find a flaw that you can prove is false. This is done by making use of the evidence held in the court record, finding any contradictions between their story and hard evidence, shouting “TAKE THAT!” and forcing them to admit they made a mistake and in tern forcing them to change their testimony, repeatedly doing so until their entire testimony is no longer creditable.

The graphics are somewhat static, yet well animated, making everyone come to life and stand out. However the lower touch screen isn’t really used to it’s full potential here, most of the time it’s just used to continue through the spoken text or to select a option from a menu, but it can be useful when it comes to searching for evidence, as not all of the game is played out in the court room, you do get the opportunity to move around from one location to another and investigate the crimes for yourself, while at the same time managing to pickup some important evidence for your case.
