Finally Snake makes his big appearance on the small screen, in Metal Gear Ac!d. An unknown terrorist has hijacked a passenger plane and using it to threaten the government to get the hijacker what he wants or else and so it lies down to Solid Snake to infiltrate an unknown base to retrieve what the hijacker requests.

But this time the gameplay has a twist, you play it turn-based with all the movement and actions limited to the cards in your hand. This actually works very well, at the start of each turn you'll have the chance to draw a maximum of 2 cards from your deck to your hand, which has a card limit of 6 and each card has a cost, which is the time you must wait for your next turn. As default Snake can only play 3 cards per tern, but this can be increased by the use of cards such as action + or action ++. So if you where to use a card to move and then another card to equip armor, you can then end the turn and the cost of both cards are added together to give you the time you must wait, the cost then starts to count down and when an enemies cost reaches 0, they get to continue there patrol, after they end there turn the cost continues to count down till your cost hits 0 and you can continue again.

The controls are actually much easier then they sound and once you get in to the swing of it, you'll really be able to see how stunning the graphics are, you also get cinematic angles of the action when you use an item like a Famas on an enemy guard, which really shows off the fact that Snake looks just as good on PSP as he ever did on the PlayStation 2.

So with over 200 strategic moves, two playable characters, wireless multi-player mode and some familiar faces from previous games, Metal Gear Ac!d is the ultimate stealth trip on PSP.
