The online service for XBOX 360 is XBOX Live, which comes in two versions, Gold and Silver. XBOX Live Silver is a free online service that gives you access to talk to your friends and download game demos, movies and game add-ons; however you cannot play games online without a Gold subscription. XBOX Live Gold allows gamers to play online multiplayer with any game that has an online mode, as well as connect to facebook, twitter, last.fm, zune, sky player, video chat and exclusive offers. XBOX Live Gold costs £4.99 a month; £40 a year.
